Using phpMyAdmin to restore content

Back in March 2014 my website was hacked. It took a little over a month but it’s finally up and running again. Thanks to being able to restore my content using phpMyAdmin. Using phpMyAdmin to restore content Depending on how your content was lost you may be unable to access your content management system (CMS), CPanel or FTP server. This was the case for me – the hackers had deleted everything including my WordPress installation which is my CMS of choice. Shiney and New!

Hello! You may have noticed a lot of down time on my website lately, long story short, I was over the bandwidth available for the package I was on! It’s now been upgraded and I’m back. 🙂 There’s a bunch of updates I want to do and some things I want to finish with my website, more on that later. The following is a list of what I tried to fix this error and what the route cause was! The first place I tried for help on this error was obviously the WordPress Codex and Support areas, I had some luck. The WordPress Codex had an article on Login Trouble Read More…

Keeping Busy

I’ve definitely been keeping busy lately with various offline (and some online) activities. Here’s what I’ve been up to when I haven’t been writing or working on my website: Catching up on my Sky+ shows Bones, Casualty, Teen Wolf, Holby City etc – I haven’t caught up with season 2 of Teen Wolf yet, it’s been in my Sky+ planner for about a year now! The others I’ve been a fan of for years and with Casualty and Holby City for as long as I can remember. Working Full-time, 8.30 – 5.00 with a bunch of overtime thrown in as Read More…
