Happily Rustic Photo Plaque * | Review

I love supporting independent businesses, so when Hayley of Happily Rustic posted on Twitter looking for bloggers to review one of her products, I got in touch after seeing her wonderful products on Etsy.

Hayley started Happily Rustic after losing her office job due to on going health issues. She suffers from M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. She lives with her husband who is very supportive of her business and their two fur babies.

Hayley says she enjoys making her products and loves seeing all the photos sent in by her customer’s.

When the package arrive I was pleasantly surprised how elegantly wrapped it was. Brown paper and string with a Happily Rustic sticker which I think compliments the rustic feel of Hayley’s products.

Brown paper packages tied up with strings, these are a few of my favourite things.

I decided to choose two wood slice ornaments, one of my sister’s engagement and a family photo of my sister, mum and I at Legoland Windsor. Hayley was wonderful to work with and made sure I was happy with the designs before they were printed. I thought these would be great gifts for my sister and mum to enjoy. Both photos turned out great and I’m looking forward to seeing their reactions.

Each wood slice is different as Hayley uses reclaimed wood, so you may find different colours, shapes or cracks in the wood, which I think adds to the rustic charm.

The ornaments came with string to hang them and a card with contact details for Hayley as well as care instructions to ensure you keep your wood slice in good condition.

If you’re looking for a unique gift, I’d highly recommend Happily Rustic. They would be perfect for weddings, anniversaries or “just because”. I like the magnets Hayley also offers which would make great wedding favours!

You can catch up with Hayley on Twitter or Instagram, and make sure you check out her Etsy shop. 😊

Thank you for your comment. I’m sure Etsy do international shipping. It may be worth shooting Hayley a message. 😊

    These are so cute!

I actually saw the same Twitter post myself, but I didn’t know what I’d have printed on it.. but I thought the idea was adorable if you knew what you wanted.

That’s fantastic that she has made a business even while struggling with ongoing health issues too.

I love that you picked some personal memories to make as gifts, that’s so lovely. I hope they were well received.

Thanks hun! 😊 I’ve already gifted them to my mum and sister who loved them. I think my sister’s planning on displaying hers at her wedding next year.
