Hello Autumn

Autumn has always been my favourite season; leaves changing colour, cooler weather but not bitterly cold (although I’m sure that’ll be here soon I’m sure), Autumn activities such as Halloween and Bonfire Night etc. These are a few of my favourite things about Autumn and things I’m up to in the next few weeks. I hate clothes shopping

I like shopping; food shopping, Christmas  (or other) present shopping, going in book stores, charity shops, HMV (film / music store in the UK) but I hate clothes shopping. I find trying on clothes tedious and often end up not purchasing anything (it doesn’t fit or it doesn’t look right on me etc) – great way to save money, I suppose. Wardrobe Revamp

Since organising my wardrobe recently and compiling a list of things to buy (hello wardrobe revamp) – mainly replacement items for things that were too big – I’ve been reading a lot online, mostly via Pinterest (can’t get enough of that website!) about minimalistic wardrobes (or ‘capsule’ wardrobes). The idea being that you have a few staple pieces of clothing and accessories that are easy to pair with the rest of your wardrobe or that these staples are your entire wardrobe. 2012 so far

At the beginning of 2012, I made a list of goals I wanted to achieve this year (resolutions, if you like). Now that it’s past the half year mark I thought I’d have a look at whether I’ve stuck to those goals and how they’ve changed! Goal set: Cook and Bake more often I can cook, I can bake—often I’m just too lazy too (especially with the former).
