Olaf in Summer cake

I made this Olaf in Summer cake for my sister’s birthday this year, it was a chocolate orange sponge cake with chocolate fingers and blue frosting. Betty Boop cake

It was my mum’s saw birthday last week, she loves Betty Boop. I’d seen bunch of Betty Boop cakes on Pinterest and decided to try baking and decorating a Betty Boop cake for her birthday. It was a lemon cake with vanilla frosting and a fondant Betty Boop. This is my first figure out of fondant. Minnie Mouse giant cupcake

My first (and probably last) giant cupcake – a Minnie Mouse giant cupcake I made for my sister’s birthday this year. It took two attempts at baking, the first cake did not rise correctly and got stuck in the silicone mould, the second didn’t rise into the “tip” of the mould. I always seem to have issues baking with silicone moulds. Motorbike cake

This cake was made for Artur’s birthday back in May and is my second novelty cake… I cheated and bought the edible motorbike decoration. 😉 The cake itself was a chocolate sponge, covered in white rolling icing that I painted green and black with food colouring. Snooker table novelty cake

This snooker table cake was made for my friend’s 22nd birthday and is my first attempt at a novelty cake! 🙂 I think it turned out pretty good for a first try.
