Back to Poland!

We didn’t make it to the Zielona Gora Winobranie that I spoke about last year but made sure we attended this year. Winobranie is a wine and music festival in Artur’s home town. There are stalls, various places to eat and a lot of wine. His best friend from Zielona Gora was in the parade, which was also going on during the day.  We didn’t spend as much time in Zielona Gora this trip as our plan was for a road trip to Warsaw and then Krakow. 2012 – year review

Zielona Gora, Gdansk and Sopot – Poland

I took my first trip alone, on a plane, to Poland! I was really nervous about the trip, especially not knowing much of the language (other than hello and goodbye) but Artur assured me most people would understand what I said if I spoke to them in English and, most did, though it took a few attempts.  I arrived at Gdansk airport in the morning and faced my first problem, which toilet was the ladies!
