No bake Double Decker cheesecake

My dad’s birthday was Wednesday, so we went for food at a local pub, called The Golden Farm, to celebrate. It’s re-opened under new management and this was our first time trying the new menu. Wednesday is their grill night! Steaks, chicken, cumberland sausage, scampi and a vegetarian dish were offered, as well as a few specials. I chose the garlic chicken dish and Dad enjoyed a gammon steak with egg, the meals were cooked by my sister’s partner who works there. All the dishes were served with garlic bread, chips and a side salad, mum and Ryan had Cumberland Read More…

Vegetarian bean burritos

Ryan’s brother and sister-in-law came over for tea this evening, to catch up and so Ryan and his brother could watch the Manchester United Vs. Liverpool game together. For tea we made vegetarian bean burritos as both his brother and sister-in-law are vegetarians. It was my first time trying burritos without any Read More…

Chicken wrapped in bacon and served with mash potato, spinach and pesto

This morning we went to a local carboot sale and indoor market where I got a great deal on a dvd box set and we bought a side board / cabinet for our bedroom. We’re going bowling and for food with some friends this evening so wanted a quick and easy meal for lunch. We decided on a chicken dish and this is what we came up with – chicken wrapped in bacon which we served with mash, spinach and pesto. It was lovely! Definitely adding it to our go to meal list. You will need 1 skinless chicken breast Read More…
