Vegetarian bean burritos

Ryan’s brother and sister-in-law came over for tea this evening, to catch up and so Ryan and his brother could watch the Manchester United Vs. Liverpool game together. They both support different teams – Ryan supports Manchester United and his brother supports Liverpool. Chicken wrapped in bacon and served with mash potato, spinach and pesto

This morning we went to a local carboot sale and indoor market where I got a great deal on a dvd box set and we bought a side board / cabinet for our bedroom. We’re going bowling and for food with some friends this evening so wanted a quick and easy meal for lunch. Chocolate Frosted Funfetti Cake with Jam Filling

Tomorrow is Ryan’s birthday (and Back to the Future day). Unfortunately, he’s working until 22.00pm so we decided to celebrate today. There was presents, singing and of course, cake… I baked a vanilla sponge cake with chocolate frosting. Spaghetti bolognaise – classic

Quick and easy to make but really tasty. This recipe serves 4 but we had the left overs another night. Spaghetti bolognaise is one of my favourite meals. You will need 250g spaghetti 400g mince meat olive oil for frying 1 jar (500g) tomato pasta sauce (or make your own) Mixed herbs Grated cheese (optional) Method Cook the spaghetti according to packet directions, usually 10 minutes in a saucepan of boiling water. Lasagne

Lasagne – the first pasta dish I made for Ryan back when we were living over a commercial premises… March, I think and one of his favourites.
