Chocolate Frosted Funfetti Cake with Jam Filling

Tomorrow is Ryan’s birthday (and Back to the Future day). Unfortunately, he’s working until 22.00pm so we decided to celebrate today. Spaghetti bolognaise – classic

Quick and easy to make but really tasty. This recipe serves 4 but we had the left overs another night. Spaghetti bolognaise is one of my favourite meals. Lasagne

Lasagne – the first pasta dish I made for Ryan back when we were living over a commercial premises… March, I think and one of his favourites. Apple Crumble Cake

A colleague at work brought in a bag full of cooking apples from his tree, free to anyone who wanted some. I took 6 and decided to have a try at my first apple crumble cake. Sausage and Bacon Pasta Bake

A quick and easy recipe for a sausage and bacon pasta bake. It was full of flavour and not too filling, perfect for me to take as a left overs lunch to work. Beef tacos

I’ve never tried tacos before. Never. I’ve never eaten them or cooked them. I wanted to try cooking something new for Ryan this evening, so I bought some taco seasoning and some tacos and decided to make mince beef tacos.
