For the past two Christmases and for Halloween last year, I’ve baked, assembled and decorated a gingerbread house. I’d like to share my go to gingerbread house recipe. Strawberry drizzle cake

Mother’s Day was last month (in the UK, I know it’s not until May in some countries) and I surprised mine with a Strawberry drizzle cake, we also took her out for the day. Most fondant decorations were hand made (can you tell? 😉 ) and my first attempt at something like this. Tesco and Lidl (local supermarkets) had some left over Valentine’s Day baking supplies on offer, I bought a few bits and made some heart shaped sugar cookies.  Artur helped decorate.
