Spending 48 hours in London

After a busy few days in Plymouth, and only one day actually spent at home(!), Aaron and I decided to hop on the National Express coach to spend a couple of days in London. There’s so much to see and do in the city, which is just one of the reasons why it’s one of my favourites to visit in the UK. I never fail to find something new every time I visit. We had planned to do a tandem bunjee jump alongside the 02 arena on this trip. But unfortunately they were sold out! 🙁 Instead we booked an […]

Rainy day in London

Last Saturday Aaron and I were on the National Express coach on our way to London. Which was his first time in the city! He wasn’t really sure what he wanted to do or see except for “Big Ben”. Massive thanks to Ellie and Lauren for their ideas of what to do in London with a first timer. In true British fashion it tipped it down – putting a dampener on our sightseeing walk plans. But we adapted and still had a fantastic rainy day in London. Camden Market We got into Victoria Coach Station at 10.30 and headed for […]

5 Favourite Toy shops in London

When shopping for toys in a big city like London, how many of you dart straight to the major toy shops? Don’t get me wrong, I love Hamleys and The Disney Store! Sightseeing in London

On Thursday morning, mum and I took the National Express coach to London to do some sightseeing and to watch Bat out of Hell the musical at the London Colesium. I had surprised her with the tickets for Christmas last year and, as it was a matinee performance, we decided to make a day of it and do some sightseeing as well. We both booked the day off work then decided to turn one day sightseeing into two and booked the Friday off too.  We stayed at the Easy Hotel in Victoria, it’s a budget hotel, no frills but is […]

Day trip to London

It was our 2 year dating anniversary yesterday and we took a trip to London for the day to celebrate and to see Wicked at the west end. I’ve been to London countless times in the past 9 years, mostly for comic con, sight seeing or for a concert. Most of the time I travelled with family or my partner but a few of them I travelled alone. The first time I travelled alone was to go to The WB Harry Potter set tour with my friend Sarah, I made a mistake when purchasing my tube ticket on that trip […]

‘Tis the season.

Where has the time gone? Halloween and Bonfire Night have both been and gone and Christmas is right around the corner! Picking up where I left off last time, we didn’t end up dressing up as characters from The Rocky Horror Picture Show for Halloween in the end. Time got away from us and the costume one of us was planning on ending up being too small. 🙁 So we looked at other options – I was a mummy, dad went as Uncle Fester from the Addams Family (complete with light bulb) and, for those of you familiar with The […]
