I think this may be my quietest year, convention wise, since I started 🙁 – That pesky thing called money limiting the amount I can go too! Well, not so much the money, but that it’s now spent on other things – like bills.
Here’s a run-down of the ones I’ll be attending this year (since I suck at keeping my events page up to date – haha):
Memorabilia Show – Birmingham
What?: A general signing event/convention at the N.E.C. Birmingham
When?: 22nd – 23rd March 2014 (I’m likely only attending on the Saturday)
Where?: NEC, Birmingham
Guest list: The memorabilia shows usually have a very varied mix of guests but the focus tends to be on Star Wars and britsh tv shows, based on past events. Full details can be found on their guests page
Collectormania 21: Milton Keynes
What?: A general signing event/convention at MK Dons Stadium, Milton Keynes
When?: Friday 16th May – Sunday 18th May 2014
Where?: Stadium: MK
Guest list: Collectormania has a wide variety of guests, mostly from sci-fi or “cult” tv shows and films, full details of guests attending can be found on their guests page, but I will be mainly going to meet Brian Thompson (Star Trek, Buffy, Xfiles), Lee Arenberg (Pirates Of the Caribbean), Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th), Clare Higgins (Dr Who, Hellraiser)
London Film and Comic Con
What?: A general signing event/convention in London
When?: Friday 11th – Sunday 13th July 2014
Where?: Earls Court 2, London
Guest list: London Film and Comic Con is the biggest convention/signing event I attend each year. Featuring a huge wide variety of guests, mostly from sci-fi or “cult” tv shows and films, full details of guests attending can be found on their guests page, but I will be mainly going to meet Summer Glau (Firefly/Serenity, Sarah Connor), Stan Lee (Marvel creator), Ian Mcdiarmid (Star Wars), Sean Maher (Firefly)
Chevron 8.1
This one is a maybe! Not sure if I’m free that weekend yet.
What? Chevron 8.1 is Massive Event’s 3-day convention celebrating the television series “Stargate”. This event will be held from at the Radisson Edwardian, Heathrow.

Hallowhedon 6
What? Massive Event’s 6th Hallowhedon convention, celebrating the work of Joss Whedon – Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Dollhouse etc.
When?: Halloween weekend: Friday October 31st – Sunday 2nd of November 2014
Where?: Radisson Edwardian Blu Heathrow Hotel

Eternal Twilight 10
What?: Eternal Twilight is back! 😀 – Eternal Twilight 10 is Massive Events tenth 3-day unofficial convention to celebrate the ‘Twilight’ books and the series of films.
When?: Friday 28th – Sunday 30th of November 2014
Where?: The Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, NEC
