Artur is trying to eat gluten free at the moment, to find out if his is intolerance is due to gluten or other types of food. This is one of the gluten free desserts I’ve made him recently.
Wish I’d took a better photo of these as they were delicious!
You will need
- 100g butter
- 200g caster sugar
- 2 eggs
- 50g chocolate, melted
- 1/2 teaspoon gluten-free baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 150g chocolate chips
Preheat the oven to 190 C / Gas mark 5.
Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs until a smooth consistency.
Stir in the melted chocolate, baking powder, vanilla essence, cocoa powder and chocolate chips.
Mix well until it’s of a dropping consistency then pour into the prepared baking tin.
Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 to 30 minutes.
Allow to cool on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
