Schwartz BBQ Stuffed Chicken *

AD, GIFTED| How many times have you spent time on a dish only to over (or under) season it? Leaving you with a unfufilling or bland dish? Me too. Which is why I often reach for ready mixed spices, like Schwartz BBQ seasoning*. I just love how a little seasoning can turn a bland dish into something delicious, and packed full of flavour. Even if you’re not a natural in the kitchen, or struggle to make a meal from scratch (like I do sometimes). They’re a great way to add a little something extra to your meals. And, with minimal […]

I chose the garlic chicken dish and Dad enjoyed a gammon steak with egg, the meals were cooked by my sister’s partner who works there. All the dishes were served with garlic bread, chips and a side salad, mum and Ryan had Cumberland […]

Vegetarian mixed bean burritos

Ryan’s brother and sister-in-law came over for tea this evening, to catch up and so Ryan and his brother could watch the Manchester United Vs. Liverpool game together. They both support different teams – Ryan supports Manchester United and his brother supports Liverpool. There was a lot of shouting at the tv and arguements over referee decisions(!), I admit watching them both literally on the edge of their seats was quite funny. The teams drew 1-1. For tea we made vegetarian bean burritos as both his brother and sister-in-law are vegetarians. It was my first time trying burritos without any […]

Chicken wrapped in bacon and served with mash potato, spinach and pesto

This morning we went to a local carboot sale and indoor market where I got a great deal on a dvd box set and we bought a side board / cabinet for our bedroom. We’re going bowling and for food with some friends this evening so wanted a quick and easy meal for lunch. We decided on a chicken dish and this is what we came up with – chicken wrapped in bacon which we served with mash, spinach and pesto. It was lovely! Definitely adding it to our go to meal list. You will need 1 skinless chicken breast […]
