Own a Moment * | Review

When it comes to buying gifts for people I go for personal or experience gifts. Something the recipient can treasure or something they can make memories with.

Last month, I was contacted by the team at Own A Moment who asked if I wanted to review one of their products. Of course I said yes, based on my love of personalised gifts and knowing just who to get one for. My sister and her fiance.

What is Own a Moment?

Own A Moment give you the chance to gift a moment in time. No duplicates of the same time slot are sold, so that moment is forever yours. It’s a great way to celebrate births, anniversaries, weddings, any special day you can think of.

You simply pick the date and time, and receive a certificate with a photograph of the moment – either a printed copy (framed or unframed) or digital.

Each moment sold is added to the official time registry (OTR) and all certificates are complete with an OTR seal.

The OTR is an international registry where all moments are recorded and managed in a large database. You get free access to the registry website with your prucahse, to view your certificate, download and share with others on social media.

Own A Moment – the gift of time

The moment I chose was the day they got engaged at Heroes and Villans comic con. The time is a rough estimate but I think it’s the thought and gesture that really matters.

I chose a photo from the day which looks perfect on the certificate. There is also a text area where you can write a message to the recipient(s).
