Happy Easter to those that celebrate it! π Today I spent the morning exploring the historic docks in Gloucester where they had a Spring festival and vintage fun fair.
We started with a light breakfast in Bill’s, the restaurant I frequent in Cheltenham which I didn’t realise until today also has a premises in Gloucester! I’ll definitely be going back in future. It’s been a while since I’ve explored Gloucester city and it’s definitely had a lot of improvements over the years.
There’s a wide range of restaurants and bars at the docks as well as an outlet shopping centre.
The Spring market had loads of stalls, from food like cakes, chutneys, cheese and pasties to lampshades, clothes, jewellery and accessories.
I didn’t buy anything but dad picked up a Lego Ghostbusters frame from a stall called ‘Almost Frameous‘.
Unfortunately the large antiques centre that used to be there has now moved to the city centre but we did stumble upon a smaller one. It had loads of unique treasures including a Rosie and Jim arcade ride!
After the market we headed to a garden party at a local pub where they have children’s crafts, family games at live music. Unfortunately due to the weather forecast the planned BBC didn’t happen. π It was still a good little event though and we did get to eat Creme Eggs! Mmmm.
Tomorrow we’ll be having a roast turkey dinner at my parents house. There will be 7 of us there and well exchange Easter presents or Easter eggs. As Ryan can’t be there he handed me a bunch of lovely purple flowers yesterday. πΉπ΅πΈπ
I hope everyone has a lovely day however you spend it. π

Here’s a photo of our table from Easter Monday, with geeky placemats and coasters. We had roast turkey with all the trimmings, it was beautiful.

It looks like you had a really fun Easter weekend! The Spring Festival looks great! I love that VW ice cream van, that’s so cool. Definitely the prettiest ice cream van I’ve ever seen!
Oh wow, I want that Rosie and Jim arcade ride. I have a picture of me when I was really little on one of those. I can’t believe they’re selling one. That’s amazing!
Your Easter meal sounds amazing! I’d love a roast dinner right now!

Hope you had a great Easter! I like festivals, and there is the Easter Show in Sydney, but itβs not much… usually the same stuff every year. Itβs why I like attending events while I am in other countries or towns, as itβs usually more interesting than what we have at home. π
I had my first Creme egg about five years ago; I had never had one before and my friend hyped it up but I didnβt like it that much! It was probably a little too sweet for me. I stuck with normal milk chocolate easter eggs!
