Star Wars Tag – May the 4th Be With You.

Happy Star Wars Day and May the 4th be with you! Today Aaron and I will be celebrating by watching as many of the Star Wars movies as we can! In time line order. And as you’re reading this we’re already starting Episode I : The Phantom Menace. I think it’s worth mentioning that the total watch-time for Episodes I-IX is 17 hours and 57 minutes. that excludes the two spin-off movies! So we should be able to fit in 7 or 8 of them today, with the remaining movies being watched tomorrow for ‘Revenge of the Fifth’, and finishing […]

Party planning for any occassion *

AD | At my 9-5 job I’m part of an associate engagement team, and one of our main responsibilities is planning social events for our staff. But to be honest, that’s not where my love of party planning first began. Credit has to go to my dad here for all the Halloween party planning we did when I was little. Along with many themed movie nights (like Star Wars day). With a decades worth of party planning, it’s pretty safe to say I’ve had some good experience, from company barbecues to christmas parties *. 30 things I’ve learnt in 30 years

On May 7th 2018 I turned 30, which seems like such a long time ago now but I wanted to mark the occasion in some way. Anyone else think this year is really flying by? It was perfect from themed food, to family and friends in costume and props being on display – I loved it. She also held it on May the fourth: Star Wars day. Here’s […]

Staycation & birthday celebrations 2017

Ryan and I booked the first week of May off work with the original intention of a road trip through Ireland, but due to the unknown state of our housing situation towards the end of March (you can read more about that in my moving back in with your parents as an adult post) we decided to save the money just in case we needed it for a rental or renewal deposit or for storage rental. We decided to keep the week booked off and planned a staycation instead with plans to travel Ireland next year. Day 1 – Cardiff City […]

Star Wars Day, Darth Vader Bread Recipe

Happy Star Wars day and May the 4th be with you! It’s that time of year again, where my Facebook and Pinterest feeds are full with well wishes and Star Wars themed puns. Last year my family and I had a Star Wars themed party and watched all 6 films back to back… This year is slightly different; we still have Star Wars themed food but went for another film franchise this year: Batman (so 7 films to try and get through 😉 ). We made Darth Vader bread for today’s ‘feast’ – it looks great (although cracked a little […]

Star Wars Day Party 2014

Happy Star Wars Day and, of course May the 4th be with you. If you weren’t aware today is international Star Wars Day, not something I’ve celebrated greatly in the past. Besides wishing my Star Wars fan friends/family a Happy Star Wars Day. But, this year my dad decided we should watch all 6 films back to back! Because, why not! We’ve never attempted watching them all in one go before and Artur has never seen any of the films! So he needs educating. 😉 I decided to be really geeky and have a Star Wars Day Party with themed […]
