The Sister Tag | P.S. I’m An Auntie!

In case the title wasn’t clear enough… I’m now an Auntie! πŸ˜€ Yep, my sister gave birth to two beautiful twins (a boy and a girl) last week. Mum and babies are all doing very well, and I’m feeling so proud of my sister at the moment. I can’t wait to meet my nephew and niece very soon! 😊 Until then, I thought it would be a great way to celebrate my sister, and her family, by answering some of the ‘The Sister Tag’ questions. I hope you enjoy!

The Sister Tag Questions

1. How old are you both?

I’m 32 and my sister will be 30 in December.

2. Describe your sister in one word?

Organised!

3. Do people ever get you mixed up?

Ha… Sometimes people get our names wrong as they both begin with ‘K’. I’ll be “Kel-er-Kim” and she’ll be “Kimber-Kelly”.

4. What is something that annoys you about your sister?

I tried really hard to think of something but honestly, nothing in recent years. I’m sure if you’d asked me when we were teenagers there would have been many!

5. Dish the dirt.

Hm, OK, I can tell you about the time she set the clocks back half an hour; so we could get up earlier on Christmas Day. πŸ˜…

6. Do you ever argue?

Sometimes, but a lot less as we’ve gotten older.

7. What’s the best thing about your sister?

How she’s always there for me if I really need her.

8. Fave inside joke?

It has to be putting the clocks back on Christmas Day. 🀣 We acted so innocent about it but our parents easily figured out what we’d done.

9. Fave memory together?

There are so many! Probably Christmases when we were little. She used to creep into my room with her stocking and we’d peak inside before waking up mum and dad.

10. Full sisters/half/step?

Full sisters

11. Guess her fave singer?

Probably Eminem, if he counts as a singer? Otherwise the band members in Busted or Mcfly. Especially Matt!

12. If your house was burning down, and your entire family was sure to be okay, what would you save and why?

Assuming our pets are also OK, I’d grab my three photo albums. They’re A5 so very light and easy to carry.

13. Who takes longer to get ready?

Probably her.

13. Heels or flats?

She’s usually in heels.

14. Pants or dresses?

She wears a bit of both!

15. Her Favourite animal?

Panda or rabbit

16. Comedy, horror, or chick-flick?

We both like watching the Scream or Saw movies together. But her favourite genre would be family films, i.e. Disney.

17. Favorite movie?

She loves The Lion King.

18. What is something weird that she’s eat?

I can’t think of anything particularly weird. Her favourite food is usually pizza. πŸ•

19. Do you guys have anything matching?

Ha, not anymore, but our Gran used to buy matching outfits for us when we were younger. It came in handy when I wandered off at Napoleon’s Tomb in Paris…!

20. What’s her favorite TV show?

Probably Gotham.

Woooooo, congratulations to your sister! So good to hear the twins and mum are all well. How’s it feel being a new auntie to beautiful twins? Β β™₯ This is a lovely idea for a tag.

We’re the same age, Kim! I can’t believe the big 3-3 is around the corner this year. 33 used to be the age when, as I kid, I felt people were officially β€˜old’. Ugh. πŸ˜†

Haha, I know what you mean! I was exactly the same. Even 30 seems old when I was younger.

Thank you! 😊 Being a new auntie is great. I wasn’t sure how I’d take to it but I’m getting involved with feeds etc. It’s lovely seeing them growing up. xx
