Vegan & Beauty treats Ft Glow Steady

Back in September I entered Glow Steady’s first year favourites giveaway, and I won! 😊 This is the first giveaway I’ve won so I was pretty excited when Sophie contacted me for my address.

My prize arrived at the end of November full of vegan and beauty treats that I wanted to share with you. I love how Sophie packed the individual items in white starry paper. It was like Christmas came early. 😊

Here’s what I received in my giveaway bundle.

Mini Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm

I’ve used this at the end of the day to remove my eye makeup and it’s great. It even works on my waterproof mascara and eye liner which I usually struggle to take off.

Mini Clinique Moisture Surge Overnight Mask

I haven’t used this one yet as I’m currently enjoying the Body Shop body butter (detailed below) as an overnight balm. But I’m looking forward to trying it.

Ultrasun SPF30 lip balm

Another one I haven’t used yet! To be honest, I’m waiting for the Summer months but I love that it’s a SPF product.

Revolution Hyaluronic Acid Serum

This serum left my skin feeling soft and moisturised from the first use. I prefer to use it just before bed or as soon as I wake up.

Mini The Body Shop Almond Milk & Honey Body Butter

I suffer from dry sensitive skin and found this product very soothing. But it left my skin feeling sticky after a while, so I’ve been using it just before bed after a bath. The smell isn’t too overpowering, it’s just like honey mixed with warm milk which I enjoy.

A selection of Nakd Bars

These didn’t last long at all! The cherry Bakewell one was the best out of the three.

Urban Fruit Strawberries

Honestly I wasn’t keen on these. I felt the strawberry flavour was too sharp for my liking.

Vegan recipe book

I’m looking forward to trying out some of the recipes in this cookbook. The ones that stand out to me so far are the breakfast pancakes and the lemon and parsley pasta. I must point out that I’m not vegan, I’m allergic to dairy, so I may adapt some of these to include a bit of meat. Chicken is my go-to.

Meal planner sheets

This has already been put up on my fridge and I’ll be using it to plan, and keep track of, my meals throughout the week.

Thanks again to Sophie for the lovely prizes. 💗 Which one is your favourite?

Congratulations on winning the giveaway! This looks like a fab bunch of goodies, and I love how they’re presented, too. Those meal planner sheets are so pretty.
