Sightseeing in Bristol ft. Paper Bag Co *

GIFTED | Living in The Cotswolds I have my fair share of cities to choose from for a shopping trip or a bit of sightseeing. From Bath to Oxford and Bristol to Cardiff, I really am spoilt choice. So when I heard the creators of The Selfie Bag (Cotton Bag Co / Paper Bag Co) had created a local bag range, I jumped at the chance to sample one. The local bags range showcases towns and cities in the South West area and come in five designs, including two of my favourite cities – the beautiful city of Bath and […]

Westonbirt Arboretum

Today Aaron and I took a walk around Westonbirt Arboretum, which is one of my favourite places to go for a nature walk, and that’s not just because it’s a short, 20 minute drive away. The Arboretum is a nature lovers dream with a wide range of trees and shrubbery, from most corners of the globe. I’ve been lucky enough to see the Giant Redwood (USA) and the Japanese maple. Autumn is probably my favourite time of year to visit, when the leaves change colour and everything is a beautiful mixture of reds, oranges and pinks. But there is always […]

Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail

If you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I recently visited the Forest of Dean Sculpture Trail. A four and a half mile walk through the woods sculpture spotting. Rainy day in London

Last Saturday Aaron and I were on the National Express coach on our way to London. Which was his first time in the city! He wasn’t really sure what he wanted to do or see except for “Big Ben”. Massive thanks to Ellie and Lauren for their ideas of what to do in London with a first timer. In true British fashion it tipped it down – putting a dampener on our sightseeing walk plans. But we adapted and still had a fantastic rainy day in London. Camden Market We got into Victoria Coach Station at 10.30 and headed for […]

Things to do in Northumberland | Guest Post

How many of us take the time to explore our “own back yard”, whether that be your own country, state or county or even the town or city you live in? A staycation can be the perfect get away and something I’m trying to do more often. Next in my staycation series we’re taking a trip to the North of England with Rachael to a place high on my UK travel list – Northumberland. [Missed last week’s staycation post? Catch up here.] Rachael is a lifestyle blogger living in the North East of England with her husband. She’s a born […]
