Disneyland Paris Bucket List

Next week(!) I’ll be hopping on the Eurostar to Disneyland Paris for my sister’s hen weekend! It’s come around so quickly since we booked it back in November, and I’m really looking forward to it.

I’ve been to Disneyland a few times before (3 to be exact) but never travelled on the Eurostar; I’ve driven to Disneyland (via the Channel Tunnel) and flown to Paris and caught the Metro, but never used the Eurostar.

This will also be my first time staying at one of the park hotels – I’m not sure which one, my sister’s keeping that part a secret but we are having breakfast and lunch with some of the Disney characters. Another thing I haven’t experienced before.

As this Disneyland trip is full of firsts, I thought I’d share my Disneyland bucket list with you. I’m hoping to tick some of these items off this trip.

Disneyland Paris Bucket List

Meet Eeyore

I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of the characters on my first trip to Disneyland, back in 1997(!), but one that has alluded me so far is Eeyore. He’s my favourite Disney character, so I’m hoping I’ll get lucky this time around.

Ride Crush’s Coaster

I missed this on my last trip as the queues stayed at 2 hours minutes all day, but it will be the first ride I head to this trip. Especially as one of the perks of staying in a Disney Hotel is ‘Extra Magic Hours’, meaning you can access the park at an hour before opening.

Eat at Planet Hollywood again

We ate at Planet Hollywood when we visited the park in 1997 for its 5th anniversary, but I don’t remember much about it, other than my dad picked up a t-shirt and they had a prop replica of the Jumangi board game. So I’m interested to see what’s changed and especially what props and film memorabilia have been added since.

Disneyland Paris at Halloween

Obviously, this is one for the future rather than this trip, but I’ve heard such great things about Mickey’s Halloween party that I need to do this. Plus, Halloween is my favourite holiday.

Ride Indiana Jones Temple of Doom

Another ride I haven’t been on yet for a number of reasons – it was closed on my last trip, I missed it in 2012 as we only had a few hours there (read more here), and the queues were over two hours long, and on my first visit, I was too short to ride it! 😅 So this will be another one I take advantage of with ‘Extra Magic Hours’.

Walk through the Dragon’s Lair

I had no idea this existed until recently, but rumour has it. There’s a dragon sleeping underneath Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland Paris.

Have you been to Disneyland? Do you have any other recommendations? Let me know in the comments. 😊

I really want to meet the boss himself! Disneyland Paris recently partnered with an app called LineBerty where you can get an online ticket for some meet and greets including Mickey in ToonTown in the Studios park. That means you only have to wait like minutes in line.

Happy to say we met Mickey! 💗 He was in the main Disneyland Paris park (as well as ToonTown). We looked at LineBerty for meeting Buzz Lightyear but ran out of time.

This is such a cute list, it’s nice to go back somewhere when you haven’t been in a long time. I’ve only been to Disney once and I was about 5 so I hardly remember anything x

Have an amazing time! I got taken for my birthday in January and loved it. We didn’t get to go on Crush’s coaster because it was closed for refurb at the time!

Aw, that sounds awesome! I’d love to go there in the Winter seasons (or at Halloween of course 😉). It’s a shame you didn’t get to go on Crush’s coaster though. 🙁
